...a serious expression in the middle of July.

July is trucking along faster than might be expected and my move date of July 28th is coming up soon. In the meantime, I'm mostly focusing on getting in visits with friends before I go, but there is some very serious adulting that has to happen in order to make sure moving can happen. So, here's a list of the adulting accomplishments for this week.

1. Our renters agreement is now signed. I know that they last looked for lead pain 10 years ago, that I'm not allowed to own a grill, and that bedbugs are a serious danger to consider when purchasing used furniture. I am signed in for a year long contract.

2. I have an electric account. There is now a way for me to have electricity and it will be turned on in my apartment two days before I move, so I won't be sitting in the dark.

3. I have renters' insurance. I am now insured and I actually shopped around and found a good deal through a trusted company. Which is very exciting.

4. I tried a new restaurant yesterday. Sure, maybe not the same level of adulting, but when food is stressful, restaurants are stressful.

So those are my accomplishments this week, and it feels pretty good to be doing okay at this adulting thing.
