I have headaches, blurry vision, and I can't feel my toes.

Ahem. And now, a Christmas song for my family. Feel free to sing along. On the first day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... A sore throat with a sneeze. On the second day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... Two aching ear drums, and a sore throat with a sneeze. On the third day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... Three missed meals, two aching ear drums, and a sore throat with a sneeze. On the fourth day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... Four useless limbs, three missed meals, two aching ear drums, and a sore throat with a sneeze. On the fifth day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... FIVE GALLONS OF SNOT!!!!! Four useless limbs, three missed meals, two aching ear drums, and a sore throat with a sneeze. On the sixth day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... Six hours of coughing, FIVE GALLONS OF SNOT!!!! Four useless limbs, three missed meals, two aching ear drums, and a sore throat with a sneeze. On the seventh day of Christmas, my flu bug gave to me... ...

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! This holiday season has been an odd one. When my family went to see my Mom's parents and siblings for Thanksgiving/early Christmas, I was very sick, so I wasn't able to go. And then, because the school year was pushed forward a week, I was still in finals when my family went to visit my Dad's dad and sister. So basically, I didn't get to see any of my extended family. But, depending on how things go, I might not be able to come home for Christmas. Plane tickets are expensive, and I'll be just barely skimming by for the next several years. Even if I manage to get home, getting home for long enough to go visit the grandparents and the cousins? Very unlikely. I'll have a job, I'll have an apartment I'm paying for. I...

do you want to see a crazy lady fall apart in front of you?

After many overwhelming weeks, I wrote a weekly schedule that included making a weekly blog post. And after several more overwhelming weeks, I still haven't followed the schedule or made a blog post. But I'm back today. Yesterday ended a week of SMing for December Dance, a dance showcase for student choreographers. Tomorrow my first 15 page final paper is due. How many pages do I have done? Two.  But that's SMing for you. No time for anything. It's what happens when you're in the theatre from 4-10pm every night, but I'm used to that. Thankfully, I have an extension until Wednesday, but there are three 15 page papers due this week, for which I haven't gotten past the research, so I'm probably going to be drinking a lot of coffee and pulling some late nights. But, on the bright side, I have several more applications, and I'm expecting a call from Florida State today, which is very exciting. A lot has happened the past several weeks, and it's hard t...
