Pageant
The average woman in the United States is between a size 16 and a size 18, while the average Miss USA contestant is between a size double 0 and a size two. I want to show that you don't have to be a size two to fulfill the pageant's core values of confidence, grace, and a desire to help others. My goal is to normalize plus size women on stage. Which is why I am competing in Miss Wisconsin, USA. The process is a little stressful, but a lot of fun. Earlier this month, I had my first makeup consultation with my Mary Kay consultant Lindsay Freisthler. We worked on a routine to keep my skin nice while putting on and taking off makeup. About a week ago, I went for my first gown consultation!
